Neighborhood Grants

Neighborhood Grants

At the Neighborhood Church, we place an emphasis on loving people and communities. We long to be a community who do not exist for ourselves. In light of this passion, we have set aside funds for individuals and our Neighborhood Groups to serve, love, and interact within their community. Previous grants have been used to invest in the Dakota Ridge High School facility, host Block Parties, and organize other similar events in various communities.

Investing in our community has many different faces: spending valuable time to know our neighbors, throwing parties to celebrate, offering shoulders, ears, and tissues to grieving neighbors, serving on community boards, stepping up as coach or mentor, leading a Neighborhood Group, or simply inviting our neighbors over for a night on the back porch. These all look very different, but stem from the very heart of Jesus who taught us to love our neighbors by building a better community for their sake. Our Neighborhood Grants program is one way we strive to follow the way of Jesus.
